My Carbon Neutral Journey

Goodbye Car

24/8/2022

Yesterday I sold my car!
I got my drivers license as soon as I could (18 years and 2 months) and have owned a car (except for a few short years when I first came to Ireland) most of that time. That's over 30 years of driving. Based on my mileage for the past 7 years, I calculate an average of 1.89 metric tons of CO2e per year, however I know my earlier years were MUCH higher!
I am committed to doing my best to reduce my carbon footprint and share my journey along the way, even as only a diary entry for myself.

Part of this journey is to bring clients (developers and home owners) along with me and encouraging a more sustainable way of engaging with our environment, reducing car journeys, engaging with our immediate environment and generally being part of our community.
